About Water Ski - Wakeboard Manitoba
General Information:
Water Ski - Wakeboard Manitoba is a non-profit organization promoting the sport of water skiing and wakeboarding throughout Manitoba. It is the official body representing organized water skiing and wakeboarding in Manitoba, and operates as part of Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada. Program and administrative funds are made available through Sport Manitoba and Manitoba Lotteries Corporation.

Aims and Objectives:
To improve, encourage, and promote the sport of Water Skiing and Wakeboarding in the province of Manitoba.
To heighten community and public awareness to the importance of safe water and boat driving practices, the importance of adequate insurance coverage, and the benefits of organized water skiing and wakeboarding.
To provide standards to institute and regulate water skiing and wakeboarding championships in the region and award regional championships.
To ensure the enforcement of rules and regulations governing the sport of water skiing and wakeboarding.
To aid in prescribing tests for qualification, to approve the appointment of officials and judges within the province and to approve and certify records of performance.
To aid Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada in carrying out its aims and objectives within Manitoba.

- Three event water skiing - Slalom, Tricks and Jumping
- Barefoot water skiing - Wake Slalom, Tricks, and Jumping
