Tanner Polley finished an impressed 3rd place in the Junior Men’s overall division, with a 12th place finish in slalom, 4th in Trick and 3rd in Jump.
Taryn Grant also won bronze in the Junior Women’s overall division, placing 3rd in Slalom, 4th in Trick and winning Jump with a best distance of 35.6m. This is actually the 4th year in a row that Taryn has won gold in Jump in this Division. This jump also qualified her for the Open Women’s jump competition, where she improved her mark by a full 3metres to jump 38.9m and finish 3rd. Taryn has also been named to the under 21 National Team which will be traveling to Meuzac, France in September for the Under 21 World Water Ski Championships
Cole Grant finished 2nd overall in the Under 21 Men’s competition, with a 4th place finish in Slalom, 1st in Trick and 2nd in Jump. Cole’s jump of 46.7m just narrowly missed qualifying him for Open men’s jump competition.
In the Elite Men’s competition, Kole Magnowski finished 4th in Slalom, 1st in Jump and also finished 1st in the Open Men’s jump competition. Manitoba’s sole representative on the Senior National Team, Kole was coming off an impressive 12th place finish with a jump of 61.1m at the Water Ski World Championships in Dubna Russia.
